Deep WCAG 2.1 remediation on BigCommerce — from scanner failures to screen reader tested and compliant.
The SKW team made deep modifications to Starskin's BigCommerce theme with the goal of meeting WCAG 2.1 Priority ii standards. Using several of the major accessibility scanners (Axe, WAVE) as well as manual screen reader testing, we made dramatic improvements to the usability of starskin.com for users with visual or mobility impairments.
