Performance enhancements on Shopify Plus
CabanaLife needed help addressing performance concerns on their Shopify Plus site, as well as adding some new features to their homepage and product templates. SKW proposed an initial 30 hour sprint to handle a number of performance improvements:
Image re-cutting and optimization
JavaScript cleanup, deferment, and minification
Lazy-loading image assets
Auditing, cleaning, minifying, and compressing global CSS
Optimizing third party web fonts
Editing Shopify settings to reduce the product preload.
Since the initial performance sprint, SKW has aided CabanaLife in launching new template features, A/B Testing with Google Optimize, additional analytics and event tracking with Floodlight tags, and regular maintenance, fixes, and updates as needed.
